SIGN-UP DETAILS

ELIGIBILITY: Rider must have read, understood and signed  the WRR Stable and Horse Usage Agreement and passed the Practice Riding Test. Beginner students should check with Mark before signing up.  Camping Trips:  Advanced beginners and up; riders under 14 must be accompanied by an adult.

COST:  Non-lessee price includes horse usage as well as trailering. State Park campsite fees for camping trips are not included. Parks require vehicle permits. State Parks require a MN Horse Trail Pass for riders 16 and over. (The trail pass is $21 for a year or $5 for a day. Purchase at a state park or where you would buy a fishing license.)

REFUNDS  Horse usage fees will be refunded to non-lessees if you cannot attend a ride. For a trailering fee refund, you must cancel 7 days prior to a day ride and 14 days prior to a camping ride. To cancel call 436-6557 or email markward@windyridgeranch.com. If you cancel after these deadlines, you may find another rider to take your place (and have them pay you).  We might cancel a ride due to extreme weather or if not enough people sign up.

TO SIGN UP: Bring payment and include the trail date you are paying for. Payment due at the time you sign up. Sign-up sheets are in the WRR lounge. A friend can sign up for you after 10am on a sign-up day.

DAY OF RIDE: Arrive at WRR at least 45 minutes prior to departure in order to: make sure your horse is sound, groom horse; put on leg & tail wraps; load saddle, blanket and bridle; and load horse into trailer.
