The WRR Herd – 47 Schooling Horses

Click on the photos below to learn more about each horse.

All the horses at the Windy Ridge Ranch work, play, eat, and sleep together in one large herd. The herd remains very stable, since we are not in the horse boarding or sales business. Most of the horses spend their entire lives here. Brutus gave lessons from 1979-2000!

Our horses become excellent schooling horses with years of experience in a variety of equitation disciplines, including: dressage, jumping, western games, drill team, trails, and parades. Some of the horses have become state champions.

We are extremely proud of our schooling string.  They are all happy,  friendly, hard working, well trained, well loved, beautiful horses.
