At the May 2009 Otter Creek Eventing Show, Katie Clapp and Wonder Girl had fine rides in Dressage, Cross-Country, and Stadium Jumping. Here's a video of part of her cross-country ride.

Cosmos died of cancer
Cosmos went to greener pastures Thursday morning, March 4th. He died on the way to the vet. 3/11 -- The UofM Veterinary Diagnostic Lab results are in: it was cancer. A large (10 inches in diameter) mass was found in his intestines. The lab will study the tumor further to determine what kind of cancer it was. Read more about Cosmos and memories >

Mark, Katie & Kelly O'Rourke had a great time at the 2009 Minnesota Horse Expo
We hope you saw their Centered Riding demo. We'll be hearing more about Susan E. Harris and Sally Swift in future lessons! Mark's demo with Flash went well, as did his talk about horse ownership basics.

Our 2008 WRRHC Winter Carnival Parade unit took home a first place for the Torchlight Parade!
Twelve Windy Ridge Riders entertained the crowd in the St. Paul Winter Carnival's Grande Day Parade in downtown St. Paul on Saturday, Jan. 26th and in the Torchlight Parade Feb. 2. See the photos that Helen's husband, Bob, took.

On Dec 17, 2006 the entire WRR herd of 47 horses left the WRR for a
singing trail ride through the Stone Mill Farm neighborhood. It was a great success. The horses were perfectly behaved and we

Juniper, Winnie's foal, was born July 10, 2008. Watch the video of her delivery.
